The Co-op is happy to host and sponsor a variety of community events and activities. Our sponsorship program is another way we build community as we lend our financial support to educational, cultural, and athletic events happening in and around Bellingham. Events such as these are part of what makes Whatcom County a great place to live, and the Co-op plays a part in making events like these possible. Third Thursday Local Music Series featuring Brother Dalton's Euphonic Elixir
Downtown: 6-8 pm Thursday, Sept. 16
The folks with Brother Dalton's euphonic Elixir are purveyors of a neo-traditional "old time" sound. Their unique harmonies and creative renditions of traditional favorites aim to pull you out of the musical doldrums with honest to goodness "roots" music. Brother Dalton is sure to get your hands clappn' and your feet tappin'. Sing along if the spirit moves you. Don't you worry now, Brother Dalton's got the cure!

Community Shopping Day to benefit The Center for Local Self-Reliance
Both stores: Saturday, Sept. 18
1% of sales from both stores will be donated to The Center for Local Self-Reliance . Representatives will table in both stores from 1 to 4 pm.

Back to the '70s! 40th Anniversary and Member Appreciation celebrations
Downtown: Saturday, Oct. 9, 1-4 pm
Cordata: Saturday, Oct. 23, 1-4 pm
Featuring:
• ’70s costume contest (2 pm on both days)
• Tie-dye booth (create your own far-out threads!)
• Groove to ’70s tunes
• Win cool prizes
• Sample local products and meet our amazing vendors
