Member-Owner Appreciation in the Cordata store

Everyone’s favorite day in the store!

Let us treat you to live music, prize giveaways, chair massage, desserts, info, and a chance to meet local vendors and sample free food.

This year we are pleased to have very special musical guests:
Blues By Two returns with their soulful groove machine of B-3 organ and vocalist John Carswell and drummer Jud Sherwood will play at the Cordata store. Over his 45 year career Carswell has been across the country and played in every town with the likes of Blues and R&B legends B.B. King, Aretha Franklin, Tower of Power, and Ray Charles.

(encore screening: 1:30 pm October 29)
Few things on Earth are as miraculous and vital as seeds. Worshipped and treasured since the dawn of humankind. “SEED: The Untold Story” follows passionate seed keepers protecting our 12,000 year-old food legacy. In the last century, 94% of our seed varieties have disappeared. As biotech chemical companies control the majority of our seeds, farmers, scientists, lawyers, and indigenous seed keepers fight a David and Goliath battle to defend the future of our food. In a harrowing and heartening story, these reluctant heroes rekindle a lost connection to our most treasured resource and revive a culture connected to seeds.
