What Parents & Teachers Are Saying About The Real Food Show
“The Real Food Show was a high-energy program that focused on living balanced, healthy lives. Students were excited to participate and respond to Frank and Beans, listening to their presentation and then talking about it for the rest of the day. The exciting format helped them take the message home with them.”
The Real Food Show was the real deal!! Frank and Beans put on a 40-minute performance of circus-style acrobatics and acts while providing a strong message of healthy eating and exercise. Our students were fully engaged by this informative and entertaining assembly. I have seen many assemblies and this ranks as one of the best ever.

I work at Central Elementary where you performed this year, and I was wondering if it would be possible to schedule you to come back in the fall? The students just LOVED the show this year. They talked about your show for days, they said it was the best assembly all year.

The Real Food Show was absolutely engaging for our students and parents alike while teaching the concepts of the My Food Plate. Jason Quick and Della Plaster are a witty, quick, entertaining, and informative duo ‘juggling’ the importance of eating the right foods for health and for having a physically active lifestyle. Your students will absolutely be amazed by this presentation.

I am a proud member of the Co-op. But never so proud as last week when the Co-op sponsored a marvelous school assembly at Kendall elementary where I teach. We had The Real Food Show assembly. It was very well done, very entertaining, and provided a perfect message about healthy eating and exercise for our students and their families. Thank you for providing the funding for this assembly and for bringing it to our Kendall community.

Thank you so much for bringing your message to our school today! The kids in our Garden Club that afternoon really made the connection between growing foods, eating whole foods, and sustainability. You are a talented and funny duo.

A great job was done by ‘The Real Food Show.’ They worked with our existing Child Nutrition Department to continue with our message of healthy eating. This message was delivered in a FUN, TEACHABLE way for all students. Thanks for coming to our district and working with us.
What Students Are Saying About The Real Food Show
Me and my school really appreciated the show you put on for us not only because it was funny but also because you taught us a lesson in health and safety in what we eat. THANK YOU!
I loved the show they put on for us, and since then I’ve been eating more healthy foods than junk food because I know it will lead me into a healthy life style to keep me active and have more energy.
I loved every part about The Real Food Show. It was really funny too. It was really amazing what they can do. I hope kids learned a lot about taking good care of them self.
I really liked the real food show on Monday because it was hilarious and the great thing about it was that we were learning about real food at the same time. My favorite part about it was when Beans got on Frank’s shoulder. That was really funny too!
My most favorite part was when Beans ate breakfast with sugar food and then gave her a sugar crash afterward. Now from now on, I’ll know that eating sugar food can give me a sugar crash.
My favorite part of the real food show was when Beans acted like she was in space. Because she did the neat Eco sound effect to make it sound like she really was in space. I learned that eating healthy give you more energy.
I thought that the performance was really cool. And it taught us how to eat more nutritious foods.
