Member Affairs Committee
The Member Affairs Committee, fondly known as “MAC,” is a standing committee that advises the Board on the relationship between the Co-op, its members, and the community.
The MAC is a mix of Board directors and Co-op members at large. MAC looks for ways to engage with members about our food, our health, our co-op, and more. The committee monitors trends in member input and recommends groups for the Co-op’s Community Shopping Days. The group also receives training in consensus and policy governance, and gets to practice their skills at meetings in a fun, supportive environment.
Any member can bring a concern or idea to the MAC for consideration, as well as join the committee.
MAC meets on the last Wednesday of most months at 5:30 pm. The agenda is posted on the Board of Directors’ bulletin board at the front of each store.
To attend a meeting, or to learn more, contact Board Administrator Annabelle Rosborough at 360-734-8158, ext. 317 or [email protected].
You can read the most recent MAC Meeting Minutes here. Printed copies are also available on the bulletin boards at the front of each store.

The Finance Committee monitors the Co-op’s financial status on a regular basis, ensuring the Co-op’s healthy financial condition and economic viability. When possible a member-at-large will serve on this committee.
The Executive Committee consists of a minimum of three Board directors, serves as the Board’s oversight body in matters relating to the general manager, and is empowered to act on behalf of the Board for time-sensitive matters.
