Learn to cook the season’s best with local chefs. Community Food Co-op sponsors Chef in the Market, where area chefs demonstrate an original recipe using ingredients from the market, then hand out samples so you can taste the dish before you try it at home.
Demos will take place at 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12 p.m. Each one lasts about half an hour.
Chef spotlight
Tam Nguyen brings Tam Tam Pizza to the demo table on Sept. 19. Tam makes West Coast, Neapolitan-style pizza with locally milled flour and seasonal ingredients from area farmers, millers, and cheesemakers.
