Farm Fund Grants
The Farm Fund Grant program is now accepting applications with a deadline of Friday, January 18, 2019.
The Farm Fund Grant program is designed to support multi-farm collaborations and projects that strengthen local, sustainable agriculture at large in Whatcom and Skagit* counties. For single-farm projects, look at our Next Step Grants and Farm Fund Secured low-interest loans (below).

*Skagit County applicants must either supply Whatcom County or serve Whatcom County farms as part of their program.
Next Step Grants
The Next Step Grant program is currently accepting applications with a deadline of Friday, January 18, 2019.
The Next Step Grant program is designed to support local farmers who want to expand their business to supply wholesale markets. Next Step accepts proposals for grants of $1,250 to $5,000.
Applicants can also apply for low-interest Farm Fund Secured Loans (see below) to meet the grant criteria as explained in the grant application.
The Farm Fund secures low-interest loans for sustainable farm improvement projects in partnership with the Industrial Credit Union.
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis for Farm Fund Secured Loans. These loans can also be used in conjunction with Farm Fund Next Step Grants. Detailed information about the program and contact information are included in the applications.
Please submit both Farm Fund Secured Loan and Industrial Credit Union Loan applications.
