Ingredients
- 1 can, 15 ounces, pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3/4 cup water
Method
- Add all ingredients to a heavy-bottom pot and stir over medium heat until combined.
- Stir over high heat until it reaches a boil.
- Reduce to a simmer over medium heat. Stir regularly until the mixture reduces to about half, about 30 minutes.
- Once reduced, let cool to room temperature then for about 1 hour in the fridge. The longer it chills, the more the flavors will develop.
