Jim Ehmke

Classes in Nutritionist Jim Ehmke’s series, Take Control of Your Health, have consistently been among the most popular at the Co-op. The series has a theme of empowerment—understanding how your body works and how you can confidently take responsibility for your own health choices.

Jim Ehmke is a licensed clinical nutritionist and health counselor in Bellingham. Over the past 40-plus years, Jim has helped empower thousands of people to take action and regain their health. He continues to use and refine the same testing services, investigative skills, and therapies to help his clients.

Jim has been offering classes at Community Food Co-op since 2009, drawing rave reviews and many avid students. Jim’s practice has a particular emphasis on interpreting test results—blood, hair, stool, saliva and urine.

The Take Control of Your Health series includes classes on cancer, intestinal health, bone health and osteoporosis, immune system health, hormonal health, heart health, and an open Q&A session.

Jim's other recent classes have included Brain and Eye Health, Detox and Fasting, How to Read Blood Test Results.
